T-2 is demanding that the court establish that Telekom Slovenije lacks the authority to mandate insurance for agreements regarding wholesale local access (WLA) and wholesale central access (WCA) to its network, Telekom Slovenije said in a filing with the Ljubljana Stock Exchange on Thursday.

Telekom Slovenije requires insurance to be provided by operators to safeguard its business interests and mitigate the risk of payment default for obligations arising from the aforementioned agreements, it said.

The auditor of the 2022 annual report of T-2 published in November 2023 expressed concern about the existence of material solvency risk due to the existence of uncertainty about the ability of the company to fulfill its obligations, Telekom Slovenije added.
