November 15 (SeeNews) - Slovenia's average net monthly salary fell by a real 3.8% on the year to 972.73 euro ($1,238) in September, the statistics office said on Thursday.

On a monthly basis, the average net monthly salary in the country decreased by a real 2.4% in September, data from the statistics office showed.

In the first nine months of 2012, the average net monthly salary in Slovenia decreased by a real 1.9% from a year earlier to 986.19 euro.
