The gross written premiums (GWPs) of general insurer Illyria dropped by 22.5% to 8.64 million euro ($11.1 million) through September, Sava Re said in its unaudited nine-month report.
The decline in gross written premiums was a result of excluding major loss-making policyholders from the portfolio, Sava Re added.
Life insurer Illyria Life's gross written premiums amounted to some 727,800 euro in the January-September period, up from 704,000 euro recorded a year earlier.
Apart from the two insurance companies, Sava Re also owns a special purpose vehicle - Dukagjini Hospital, in Kosovo.
