The dividend payout will be double that of last year and will be issued to shareholders in two equal tranches, NLB said in a filing with the Ljubljana Stock Exchange last week.

The bank intends to pay the first tranche, of 5.50 euro gross, on June 26, while the second installment will be submitted for approval at a meeting that will take place towards the end of the year, NLB said.

The dividend payout will be proposed for approval by shareholders at their general meeting on June 17, NLB noted.

The shareholders will also vote on the appointment of Primoz Karpeta, Natalija Olegovna Ansell and Luka Vesnaver as supervisory board members, the bank added.

NLB recorded a consolidated after-tax profit of 550.7 million euro in 2023, up 23% from 446.9 million euro in the previous year.
