Slovenia's NFD Holding Cuts Stake in Rubber-to-tourism Group Sava to 6.49%

September 25 (SeeNews) - Ljubljana-based NFD Holding has lowered its stake in Slovenian rubber-to-tourism group Sava to 6.49% from 10.55%, Sava said.

NFD Holding sold 81,500 Sava shares on September 11, thereby decreasing its shareholding, Sava said in a filing with the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) on Thursday.

No further details were immediately available.

NFD Holding was among Sava's largest shareholders by June 30, 2009, ranking third behind state-owned pension fund manager Kapitalska druzba with a 18.7% stake and state-owned investment fund manager Slovenska odskodninska druzba with 11.1%.

NFD Holding (www.nfdholding.si) manages a portfolio of 35 financial investments valued at approximately 280 million euro ($411.4 million) with the largest share comprising equity holdings in hotel and tourist companies, according to the company's website.

Sava shares, part of LJSE's blue-chip SBITOP index, closed down 1.23% at an average price of 227.62 euro on Thursday.
