Belic and Jamnik will start their five-year term on January 1, 2024, Luka Koper said in a filing with the Ljubljana Stock Exchange on Thursday.
Nevenka Krzan stays in the board as interim CEO, while Vojko Rotar will retain his position as board member - labour director, Luka Koper said.
In May, Luka Koper's supervisory board approved the early termination of the mandate of CEO Bostjan Napast on June 30. Krzan was named CEO of Luka Koper for the period between July 1 and the end of the public competition for the appointment of a new CEO.
Luka Koper recorded a maritime throughput of 23.2 million tonnes last year, up 12% from 20.8 million tonnes in 2021, with container traffic increasing to 1.018 million TEUs from 997,574 TEUs. The port has broke its vehicle transshipment record in 2022, servicing 1.394 million units, up from 656,477 in 2021.
