Krka's consolidated sales increased 6% on the year to 486.1 billion euro in the three months through March, the company said in an interim financial statement filed with the Ljubljana Stock Exchange on Thursday.
Consolidated earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) amounted to 138.5 million euro in the first three months, down 5% year-on-year.
The Krka Group allocated 27 million euro to investments in the first quarter, up 24%. The company employed 11,795 people at the end of March, up from 11,780 at the end of 2023.
Krka said in April it expects net profit to exceed 310 million euro in 2024, up from 313.7 million euro last year.
