Krka bought 1,781 shares at 89.97 euro each on October 7, a further 1,802 shares at 89.50 euro each on October 10, 1,646 shares at 89.97 euro on October 11, 475 shares at 90.11 euro on October 12, as well as 1,902 shares at 90.21 euro each on October 13, it said in a bourse filing.
Prior to the transactions, Krka held 1,757,132 of its own shares. Following the repurchase, it now holds 1,742,868 own shares.
The share purchase is part of Krka's new share buyback programme, launched in July 2020, under which the company plans to acquire a maximum of just over 1.84 million own shares over the following 36 months. The maximum pecuniary amount allocated to the programme is 356.4 million euro.
