September 16 (SeeNews) - Slovenian pharmaceuticals producer Krka [LJE:KRKG] said it raised its own shareholdings to 5.279% from 5.268% after repurchasing 3,536 of its shares for an overall 331,391 euro ($330,311) on the Ljubljana bourse.
Krka bought 1,022 shares at 94.44 euro each on September 9, a further 601 shares at 93.15 euro each on September 12, 855 shares at 93.80 euro on September 13, 324 shares at 92.40 euro on September 14, as well as 734 shares at 93.67 euro each on September 15, it said in a bourse filing on Thursday.

Prior to the transactions, Krka held 1,716,246 of its own shares. Following the repurchase, it now holds 1,720,055 own shares.
The share purchase is part of Krka's new share buyback programme, launched in July 2020, under which the company plans to acquire a maximum of just over 1.84 million own shares over the following 36 months. The maximum pecuniary amount allocated to the programme is 356.4 million euro.
