March 11 (SeeNews) - Slovenia's industrial production rose by 12.2% on the year in January, the country's statistical office, SURS, said on Monday.

The country's industrial production in the mining and quarrying segment grew by 52.8% year-on-year, in the manufacturing sector it rose by 13.9%, whereas output of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning went down 36.6%, SURS said in a statement.

Breakdown by industry (pct change), as given by SURS:
