Slovenia’s Intereuropa posts flat H1 cons net profit

LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), August 31 (SeeNews) – Slovenian logistics company Intereuropa [LJE:IEKG] said on Thursday its consolidated net profit totalled 2.0 million euro ($2.4 million) in the first half of 2017, flat year-on-year.

Consolidated earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) added 3.0% in the year to 7.0 million euro in the first half, while sales rose 5.0% to 72.9 million euro, the company said in unaudited interim report filed with the Ljubljana Stock Exchange.

The highest growth of operations was recorded in the business area of Intercontinental Transport (12%), followed by Logistics Solutions (11%) and Land Transport (1%). 

The company's consolidated EBIT (operating profit) grew 1% to 3.6 million euro.

"The growth of key performance indicators in the preceding reporting periods affirms the correct course of the corporate strategy and provides impetus for the fulfilment of goals set for the current year," Intereuropa said.

Intereuropa plans to end the year with an EBITDA of 13.7 million euro and sales of 142.4 million euro.
