Slovenia's ILO Jobless Rate Falls to 4.1% in Q3 from 4.2% in Q2

November 28 (SeeNews) - Slovenia's jobless rate, calculated under the International Labour Organization (ILO) standards, fell to 4.1% in the third quarter of 2008 from 4.2% in the second quarter, as the country's labour force increased, the Slovenian Statistics Office said on Friday.

The number of people included in the labour force rose to 1.066 million in the third quarter from 1.033 million in the second quarter, the Statistics Office said in a statement.

The number of people unemployed rose to 44,000 in the third quarter of 2008 from 43,000 in the previous quarter, it added. The number of employed rose to 1.023 million from 990,000 in the second quarter.
