The four-year term of Paravan will begin on November 1, GEN Energija said in a statement on Tuesday.

Under the leadership of Paravan, GEN Energija will pursue its mission to become the main promoter and implementer of the transition to a self-sustaining and carbon-free electricity system by accelerating investments in renewable and nuclear energy in Slovenia, the company said.

The supervisory board also approved the termination of the mandate of CEO Blaz Kosorok as of October 31.
