Slovenia's Gen Energija awards 2.5 mln euro deal for Krsko NPP seismic risk analysis to U.S.-based co

LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), December 30 (SeeNews) – Slovenian state-owned power supplier Gen Energija, co-owner of nuclear power plant (NPP) Krsko, has awarded a contract worth over 2.5 million euro ($3.0 million) for site investigation services to U.S.-based company Rizzo Associates, a notice in the European Union’s procurement journal indicated on Tuesday.

The contract relates to analysis and assessment of seismic risks for NPP Krsko, the notice published in the Tenders Electronic Daily (TED) showed.

The value of the contract is given excluding value added tax.

Krsko is co-owned by Gen Energija and Croatian state-owned company Hrvatska elektroprivreda (HEP).
