March 25 (SeeNews) - Slovenia's economic sentiment index fell in March by 1.0 a percentage point (pp) monthly, after edging down by 0.1 pp in February, the country's statistical office said.
On an annual comparison basis, the overall economic sentiment indicator decreased by 2.3 pps in March, after declining by 1.9 pps in February, the statistical office said in a statement on Friday.
The decrease was influenced by the 0.5 pp decline the confidence indicator in services, whereas in manufacturing and in retail trade it fell by 0.4 pp and by 0.2 pp, respectively. The construction confidence indicator improved 0.2 pp, while the consumer confidence indicator had no influence.
On an annual basis, indicators in manufacturing went down by 1.6 pps, in services fell by 1.2 pp, in retail trade decreased by 0.1 pp, while among consumers it grew 0.8 pp.
