LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), December 20 (SeeNews) – Slovenia's economic sentiment index rose by 0.8 percentage points (pps) month-on-month to 3.0 pps in December, after decreasing by 1.7 pps in November, the country's statistical office said on Friday, citing final data.
On an annual comparison basis, the overall economic sentiment indicator was 8.1 pps lower in December, the statistical office said in a statement.
In December 2019, the manufacturing confidence indicator increased by 0.2 pps on the month and decreased by 3.4 pps compared to December 2018.
The confidence indicator in the services sector decreased by 0.4 pps as compared to November. Compared to December 2018, the indicator was 2.4 pps lower.
The retail trade confidence indicator rese by 0.8 pps on monthly comparison basis. Compared to December last year, the indicator was 0.2 pps higher.
The confidence indicator in construction remained stable as compared to November, and was 0.5 pps lower than it was in December last year.
