In annual terms, consumer confidence increased by 5 pps in February, the statistical office said in a statement posted on its website.
The monthly decrease in the confidence indicator resulted from more pessimistic consumer expectations about the country’s economym, down 2 pps, about households’ finances, down 2 pps, and about major purchases, down 1 pp.
Expectations about current households’ finances and for major purchases grew by 7 pps on an annual level each, about households’ finances they expanded by 6 pps, while about the country’s economy they worsened by 1 pp.
