November 24 (SeeNews) - Slovenia’s consumer confidence indicator improved by 1 percentage points (pps) in November, after rising by 2 pps in the preceding month, the country's statistical office said.
In annual terms, consumer confidence declined by 10 pps in November, the statistical office said in a statement posted on its website.
The monthly increase in the confidence indicator resulted from more optimistic consumer expectations about the country's economy, up 3 pps, as well as an increase in sentiment for major purchases by 1 pp, and current households' finances by 1 pp, while only expectations about households’ finances were more pessimistic by 1 pp.
All four components of the consumer confidence indicator deteriorated at the annual level. Expectations about households' finances deteriorated by 15 pps, about current households' finances by 13 pps, for major purchases by 9 pps, and about the country’s economy by 4 pps.
