The shareholders approved a dividend payout of 25.0 million euro from the balance sheet profit for 2022 at their general meeting on February 13, Cinkarna Celje said in a filing with the Ljubljana Stock Exchange.

The remaining part of the 2022 profit in the amount of 6,007 euro, will remain undistributed, Cinkarna Celje said.

Cinkarna Celje recorded a net operating profit of 42.3 million euro in 2022, up from 33.2 million euro in the previous year.

The company decided not to distribute the 2022 balance sheet profit to the shareholders last year, to retain the aid received by the government under an act to mitigate the effects of the energy crisis. According to the act, a beneficiary of economic aid should repay the funds if it distributes profit for 2022.
