The company's net sales revenue rose 35% on the year to 134.2 million euro in January-June and earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) grew 67.2% to 43.8 million euro, Cinkarna Celje said in its interim financial report.
Investments decreased to 3.6 million euro from 4.2 million euro, it added.
Cinkarna Celje was established in 1873. Its core business is production and marketing of titanium dioxide pigment.
Its shares traded at 28.40 euro, up 3.65%, by 1339 CET on Wednesday on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange.
