Slovenia's Cinkarna Celje buys back 603 own shares

December 23 (SeeNews) - Slovenian chemicals producer Cinkarna Celje [LJE:CICG] said on Monday it has repurchased 603 of its own shares for a total of 111,555 euro ($123,600).

Thus, Cinkarna Celje has increased its holding of own shares to 1.3184% of the issued share capital from 1.2437%, the company said in a filing with the Ljubljana Stock Exchange.

The company bought 200 own shares on December 16, a further 287 shares on December 17 and a final 116 shares on December 20, paying 185 euro per share on each of the three days.

As of December 23, following the transaction, Cinkarna Celje held 10,652 own shares.

The decision for the share buyback was approved by the general shareholders' meeting of Cinkarna Celje on June 4.

The company's shares traded at 185 euro on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange by 0937 CET on Monday, unchanged from Friday's close.
