Slovenia's Cinkarna Celje buys back 350 own shares

September 22 (SeeNews) - Slovenian chemicals producer Cinkarna Celje [LJE:CICG] said it repurchased 350 of its own shares for a total of 56,700 euro ($66,600).

Thus, Cinkarna Celje has increased its holding of own shares to 1.9864% of the issued share capital from 1.9431%, the company said in a filing with the Ljubljana Stock Exchange on Monday.

The company bought all 350 own shares at 162 euro each on September 17.

As of September 21, following the transaction, Cinkarna Celje held 16,050 own shares.

The decision for the share buyback was approved by the general shareholders' meeting of Cinkarna Celje on June 17.

The company's shares last traded on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange on September 18, closing at 161 euro, bourse data showed without providing details on the price change.
