Slovenia's Cinkarna Celje buys back 300 own shares

December 19 (SeeNews) - Slovenian chemicals producer Cinkarna Celje [LJE:CICG] said it has repurchased 300 of its own shares for a total of 55,500 euro ($62,000).

Thus, Cinkarna Celje has increased its holding of own shares to 1.2437% of the issued share capital from 1.2066%, the company said in a filing with the Ljubljana Stock Exchange earlier this week.

The 300 shares were acquired on December 13, with Cinkarna Celje paying 185 euro per share.

As of December 16, following the transaction, Cinkarna Celje held 10,049 own shares.

The decision for the share buyback was approved by the general shareholders' meeting of Cinkarna Celje on June 4.

The company's shares closed 0.54% higher at 186 euro on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange on Wednesday. They did not trade by 12:00 CET on Thursday.
