Slovenia's building permits up 25% m/m in September

October 21 (SeeNews) - The number of building permits issued in Slovenia in September increased by 25% month-on-month to 602, the office of national statistics said.

A total of 278 permits were issued for residential projects in September, up from August's 263, and 324 permits were issued for non-residential buildings, up from August's 220, the statistical office said in a statement last week.

The floor area of the buildings for which permits were issued in September stood at 204,028 sq m, up from 156,569 sq m a month earlier, the statement read.

The construction of 452 new dwellings was planned in the permits issued in September, up from 308 in August.
