Slovenia's building permits up 13% m/m in April

May 21 (SeeNews) - The number of building permits issued in Slovenia in April increased by 13% month-on-month to 475, the office of national statistics said.

A total of 192 permits were issued for residential projects in April, the same as in March, and 283 permits were issued for non-residential buildings, up from March's 228, the statistical office said in a statement on Monday.

The floor area of the buildings for which permits were issued in April stood at 125,586 sq m, up from 119,974 sq m a month earlier, the statement read.

The construction of 399 new dwellings was planned in the permits issued in April, up from 305 in March.
