Slovenia's building permits down 1% m/m in November

December 22 (SeeNews) - The number of building permits issued in Slovenia in November decreased by 1% month-on-month to 530, the office of national statistics said.

A total of 256 permits were issued for residential projects in November, down from October's 271, and 274 permits were issued for non-residential buildings, up from October's 264, the statistical office said in a statement last week.

The floor area of the buildings for which permits were issued in November stood at 136,676 sq m, down from 210,317 sq m a month earlier, the statement read.

The construction of 349 new dwellings was planned in the permits issued in November, down from 524 in October.
