Slovenia's annual retail sales growth slows down in Aug – table

LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), September 30 (SeeNews) – Slovenia's retail sales grew by 5.3% year-on-year in August, after increasing by 6.3% in July, the statistical office showed on Monday.

On a monthly comparison basis, retail trade turnover remained unchanged in August, after adding 1.2% in July, the statistical office said in a monthly report.

In January-August, retail sales rose 7.5% on the year.

In 2018, Slovenia's retail sales increased by 4.7%, 3.5 percentage points below the 2017 growth rate.
