On a monthly comparison basis, retail trade turnover remained unchanged in August, after adding 1.2% in July, the statistical office said in a monthly report.
In January-August, retail sales rose 7.5% on the year.
In 2018, Slovenia's retail sales increased by 4.7%, 3.5 percentage points below the 2017 growth rate.
