“The floating rate notes, in the amount of 500 million euro [$728.3 million], will have a coupon equal to the 3-month EURIBOR plus 100 basis points,” the company said in a statement to the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE).
“The issue, which is going to be listed at London Stock Exchange, was managed by Erste, RZB and UBS. At the second level the following banks participated in the syndicate as Co-lead Managers: Abanka Vipa, Banca IMI, DZ Bank AG, HSH Nordbank, ING Bank and The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ,” the statement said.
“The volume of orders in the amount of 1.0 billion euro in a very short time of the open books confirmed the positive response of the investors,” it added.
Last week, Moody's Investors Service said that it expects to assign a backed rating of Aa2 to up to 750 million euro of long-term government-guaranteed debt to be issued by Abanka Vipa.
Also last week, Fitch Ratings said it assigned a Long-term rating of 'AA' to the Slovenian lender’s upcoming issuance.
Abanka Vipa shares, part of LJSE’s broader SBI20 index, were traded down 0.57% at an average price of 52 euro on Monday.
