Slovenia's 9-mo new commercial vehicle registrations down 32.6%

LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), October 23 (SeeNews) – Registrations of new commercial vehicles in Slovenia fell by 32.6% year-on-year in the first nine months of 2020, to 6,855, the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association, ACEA said on Friday, citing provisional data.

In September alone, the registrations of new commercial vehicles in Slovenia decreased by an annual 1.6% to 940, ACEA said in a statement.

Registrations of new light commercial vehicles of up to 3.5 tonnes decreased by an annual 29.9% to 5,755 units in the first nine months of 2020, while registrations of new heavy commercial vehicles fell 41.8% to 983.

Registrations of new commercial vehicles in the EU, excluding Malta, fell 24.5% year on year to 1,206,259 the nine months through September.
