Slovenian Unior may put off sale of ski lift operator RTC Krvavec

Unior has to sell RTC Krvavec and the tourist division under its financial restructuring programme agreed with creditor banks, Unoir said in its bourse filing.

The company contacted more than 30 potential investors and invited them to submit non-binding offers. Unior expected four bids but received only one, from the municipality of Cerklje na Gorenjskem, which did not meet its expectations. The sale process will continue if the manucipality amends the offer, otherwise it will be temporarily suspended, Unior added.

The tourism activities attracted no bids, so the company decided to put off their sale and re-launch it in 2015, depending on the situation on the capital markets. The operations include some recreational facilities and tourist attractions in mountain and spa resorts in nornthern Pohorje.

Unior's management board believes that the current time is not the most suitable for the divestments and therefore it will not rush to complete them at any cost, the company explained.
