Slovenian Stocks Extend Losing Streak, Turnover Halves

October 20 (SeeNews) - Slovenian share indices lost further ground closing lower for a third session running on Wednesday, and turnover more than halved, data of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) showed.

Slovenian Stocks Extend Losing Streak, Turnover Halves

The blue-chip SBITOP index dropped 1.68% to 1,083.36 points and the broader SBI20 index skidded 1.62% to 4,476.59 points.

On Tuesday, the SBITOP retreated 1.05% and the SBI20 lost 0.60%.

All seven LJSE blue chips closed down with Nova Kreditna Banka Maribor leading losers. Its stocks fell 2.8% to an average daily price of 14.25 euro ($21.4) as 9,074 shares were traded.

Blue-chip heavyweight, drug maker Krka, was the most liquid share in a volume of 6,974 shares which lost 0.93% to 73.53 euro.

LJSE's total turnover decreased to 1.866 million euro from Tuesday's 3.545 million euro.
