Slovenian Stock Indices Rise in Lower Turnover

LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), September 14 (SeeNews) – Slovenian share indices rose on Monday as turnover dropped, data of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) showed.

Slovenian Stock Indices Rise in Lower Turnover

The blue-chip SBITOP index added 0.35%, finishing at 1,052.06 and the broader SBI20 advanced 0.44% to 4,274.82 points.

On Friday, the SBITOP added 0.95% and the SBI20 rose by 1.31%.

Seven of the eight SBITOP components gained ground and only drug maker Krka closed lower, shedding 0.44% to 72.14 euro ($105).

Nova Kreditna Banka Maribor, the nation's second biggest lender by assets, was the most liquid company on Monday as 8,880 of its shares changed hands. The stock closed 0.92% higher at 12.01 euro.

LJSE's total turnover dropped to 1.3 million euro from Friday’s 7.2 million euro.
