Slovenian Stock Indices End Mixed

LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), September 8 (SeeNews) – The blue-chip index of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) continued its tentative push into positive territory in a third straight session on Tuesday, bourse data showed.

Slovenian Stock Indices End Mixed

The blue-chip SBITOP added 0.15% to 1,027.94 points while the broader SBI20 index fell by 0.05% to 4,153.17 points.

On Monday, the SBITOP added 0.25% and the SBI20 rose 0.22%.

Four of the eight SBITOP members gained ground on Tuesday, three ended lower and one - rubber-to-tourism holding company Sava, was not traded.

Nova Kreditna Banka Maribor, the nation's second biggest lender by assets, was the biggest SBITOP gainer on Tuesday, adding 1.22% to an average price of 11.65 euro ($18.86) as 1,028 shares changed hands.

Telekom Slovenije led the SBITOP decliners, losing 1.01% to 155.37 euro in a volume of 330 shares.

Drug maker Krka, a SBITOP heavyweight, was the most traded on Tuesday, as 6,452 shares changed hands. The stock rose 0.5% to 72.12 euro.

LJSE's total turnover rose slightly to 1.25 million euro from Monday’s 952,910 euro. Bonds contributed 243,020 euro to the total turnover, compared to Monday’s 128,510 euro.
