Slovenian Shares Rise in Higher Turnover

December 2 (SeeNews) - Slovenian share indices closed higher on Wednesday in increased turnover, data of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) showed.

Slovenian Shares Rise in Higher Turnover

The blue-chip SBITOP index rose 0.80% to 1,021.22 points, while the broader SBI20 index closed up 0.42% at 4,225.22 points.

On Tuesday, the SBITOP rose 0.63% and the SBI20 ended up 0.68%.

Four of the seven LJSE blue chips ended higher on Wednesday, and three fell.

Blue-chip fuel retailer Petrol led the SBITOP decliners, closing down 0.46% at an average price of 322.99 euro ($487).

Blue-chip rubber-to-tourism holding company Sava paced the gainers, ending 3.73% higher at an average daily price of 227.73 euro.

Nova Kreditna Banka Maribor was the most liquid stock in a volume of 27,387 shares. The bank's stock rose 0.16% to an average price of 12.37 euro.

LJSE's total turnover rose to 2.6 million euro from Tuesday's 1.65 million euro.
