Slovenian Shares Fall in Lower Turnover

October 19 (SeeNews) - Slovenian share indices closed down in a slightly lower turnover on Monday, data of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) showed.

Slovenian Shares Fall in Lower Turnover

The blue-chip SBITOP index fell 1.21% to 1,113.58 points and the broader SBI20 index also lost 1.21% to 4,577.49 points.

On Friday, the SBITOP rose 0.43% and the SBI20 added 0.54%.

Six of the seven LJSE blue chips ended lower, only the shares of Telekom Slovenije went up 1.31%, closing at an average price of 159.73 euro ($239).

Nova Kreditna Banka Maribor led the decliners, ending 2.78% lower at 14.71 euro.

Drug maker Krka, a SBITOP heavyweight, was the most liquid company on Monday with 12,171 of its shares changing hands. The stock lost 0.76% to 75.59 euro.

LJSE's total turnover fell to 2.457 million euro from 2.932 million euro on Friday.
