Slovenian Shares Fall Further

December 29 (SeeNews) - Slovenian share indices fell further in lower turnover on Tuesday, data of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) showed.

The blue-chip SBITOP index ended 0.32% down at 975.27 points, while the broader SBI20 index closed 0.12% lower at 4,037.72 points. On Monday, the SBITOP closed 0.84% down and the SBI20 ended 1.04% lower.

Six of the seven LJSE blue chips closed lower on Tuesday. Rubber-to-tourism holding company Sava was the only blue chip that rose, closing 2.16% higher at an average daily price of 239.22 euro ($345).

Drug producer Krka led the blue-chip decliners, closing 1.05% down at an average daily price of 63.09 euro.

Nova Kreditna Banka Maribor was the most liquid stock in a volume of 48,710 shares on Tuesday. The bank's stock fell 0.87% to an average price of 11.37 euro.

LJSE's total turnover fell to 2.1 million euro from Monday's 7.4 million euro.
