Slovenian Shares Extend Negative Run, Turnover Nudges Higher

November 25 (SeeNews) - Slovenian share indices extended their losses on Wednesday in slightly higher turnover, data of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) showed.

Slovenian Shares Extend Negative Run, Turnover Nudges Higher

The blue-chip SBITOP index fell 0.26% to 1,016.61 points, while the broader SBI20 index was down 0.36% to 4,207.23 points.

On Tuesday, the SBITOP fell 0.82% and the SBI20 lost 0.57%.

Four of the seven LJSE blue chips ended lower on Wednesday and three rose.

Blue-chip rubber-to-tourism holding company Sava paced the gainers, ending 1.12% higher at an average daily price of 209.91 euro ($317).

Retailer Mercator led the blue-chip decliners, closing 1.01% lower at an average price of 163.62 euro.

Drug producer Krka was the most liquid stock in a volume of 23,561 shares, falling 0.75% to an average price of 68.69 euro.

LJSE's total turnover rose to 2.5 million euro from Tuesday's 2.2 million euro.
