Slovenian Shares Drift Lower, Turnover Down

October 22 (SeeNews) - Slovenian stock indices closed lower on Thursday in slightly lighter turnover, data of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) showed.

Slovenian Shares Drift Lower, Turnover Down

The blue-chip SBITOP index dropped 1.18% to 1,070.60 points and the broader SBI20 index skidded 1.49% to 4,410.10 points.

On Wednesday, the SBITOP retreated 1.68% and the SBI20 lost 1.62%.

Six of the seven LJSE blue chips closed down. Telco Telekom Slovenije was the only gainer, edging up 0.07% to an average daily price of 155.29 euro ($232).

Blue chip Nova Kreditna Banka Maribor was the most liquid share in a volume of 16,702 shares. It lost 4.77% to an average daily price of 13.57 euro.

LJSE's total turnover decreased to 1.749 million euro from Wednesday's 1.866 million euro.
