Slovenian Share Indices Rise in Slightly Lower Turnover

September 23 (SeeNews) - Slovenian share indices rose on Wednesday in slightly lower turnover, data of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) showed.

Slovenian Share Indices Rise in Slightly Lower Turnover

The blue-chip SBITOP index rose 0.20% to 1,066.79 points and the broader SBI20 index was up 0.32% to 4,353.35 points.

On Tuesday, the SBITOP fell 0.96% and the SBI20 went down 0.95%.

Two of the eight SBITOP components closed lower on Wednesday and six rose.

Fuel retailer Petrol ended 0.07% lower at an average price of 321.46 euro ($471) and rubber-to-tourism holding company Sava fell 0.48% to close at 230.46 euro.

Insurer Zavarovalnica Triglav was the most liquid company on Wednesday as 15,572 of its shares changed hands, ending down 0.22% at 27.64 euro.

LJSE's total turnover fell to 2.47 million euro from Tuesday’s 2.5 million euro.
