Slovenian Share Indices Rebound in Slightly Higher Turnover

August 18 (SeeNews) - Slovenian share indices rebounded on Tuesday as turnover nudged higher, data of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) showed.

Slovenian Share Indices Rebound in Slightly Higher Turnover

The blue-chip SBITOP index of the LJSE ended 0.80% higher at 1,024.58 points and the broader SBI20 index rose by 0.53% to 4,152.12 points.

On Monday, the SBITOP lost 0.46% and the SBI20 fell by 0.20%.

Five of Slovenia’s eight blue chips ended higher on Tuesday, while three fell.

Slovenia's largest brewer, Pivovarna Lasko, was the biggest SBITOP gainer on Tuesday, adding 8.94% to 29.36 euro ($41.4) in a volume of 205 shares.

Drug maker Krka was the most liquid company on the market on Tuesday with 8,058 of its shares changing hands. Its stock price rose by 1.46% to 71.53 euro.

LJSE's total turnover rose fractionally to 1.051 million euro from Monday’s 1.049 million euro. Trade in bonds accounted for 41,740 euro of Tuesday's turnover.
