Slovenian Share Indices Fall in Lower Turnover

October 28 (SeeNews) - Slovenian share indices drifted further down on Wednesday in lower turnover, data of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) showed.

Slovenian Share Indices Fall in Lower Turnover

The blue-chip SBITOP index fell 0.25% to 1,041.20 points and the broader SBI20 index shed 0.27% to 4,311.60 points.

On Tuesday, the SBITOP lost 1.74% and the SBI20 fell 1.84%.

Three of the seven LJSE blue chips closed higher on Wednesday and four fell.

Zavarovalnica Triglav led the blue-chip gainers. Its share closed 0 .52% higher at an average daily price of 27.03 euro ($40).

Mercator led the SBITOP decliners, closing 2.68% lower at an average daily price of 172.41 euro.

Drug maker Krka, a blue-chip heavyweight, was the most liquid stock in a volume of 10,910 stocks, ending 0.36% higher at an average daily price of 70.41 euro.

LJSE's total turnover fell to 2.1 million euro from 2.8 million euro on Tuesday.
