October 2 (SeeNews) - Slovenian share indices on Friday fell in higher turnover, data of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) showed.

Slovenian Share Indices Fall in Higher Turnover

The blue-chip SBITOP index fell 1.07% to 1,056.36 points and the broader SBI20 index lost 0.83% to 4,299.30 points.

On Thursday, the SBITOP was up 0.9% and the SBI20 rose 0.79%. All seven of the LJSE blue chips closed lower on Friday.

Zavarovalnica Triglav led the SBITOP decliners, falling 2.39% to an average daily price of 26.97 euro ($39).

Drug maker Krka, a SBITOP heavyweight, was the most liquid company on Friday as 15,612 of its shares changed hands. Krka stock ended 1.00% lower at an average price of 71.53 euro.

LJSE's total turnover rose to 4.9 million euro from Thursday's 2.0 million euro.
