Slovenian Share Indices Extend Gains in Higher Turnover

October 9 (SeeNews) - Slovenian share indices extended a winning streak in higher turnover on Friday, data of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) showed.

The blue-chip SBITOP index gained 0.72% to 1,089.16 points and the broader SBI20 index advanced 0.78% to 4,449.27 points. On Thursday, the SBITOP rose 0.69% and the SBI20 ended 0.74 higher.

Only one of the bourses's seven blue chips, Zavarovalnica Triglav, ended lower. Its stock fell 0.74% to an average daily price of 28.07 euro ($41) in a volume of 3,546 shares. Other six SBITOP components ended higher.

Rubber-to-tourism holding company Sava led the gainers with a 1.14% rise in its share price to 230 euro as 30 shares were traded.

Drug maker Krka, a SBITOP heavyweight, was the most liquid company on Thursday as 15,673 of its shares changed hands. The company stock added 1.11% to 73.74 euro.

LJSE's total turnover rose to 3.9 million euro from 2.8 million euro on Thursday.
