September 28 (SeeNews) - Slovenian share indices fell on Monday in lower turnover, data of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) showed.

Slovenian Share Indices Edge Down in Lower Turnover

The blue-chip SBITOP index was 0.30% lower at 1,048.39 points and the broader SBI20 index lost 0.45% to 4,266.09 points.

On Friday, the SBITOP fell 0.17% and the SBI20 was down 0.28%.

Three of the eight SBITOP components closed higher on Monday, and five ended lower.

Insurer Zavarovalnica Triglav led the blue-chip decliners on Monday. Its stock dropped by 3.72% to an average price of 25.65 euro ($37.6) in a volume of 2,309 shares.

Nova Kreditna Banka Maribor, the nation's second biggest lender by assets, was the most liquid company on Monday as 4,844 of its shares changed hands, ending 0.76% lower at an average price of 11.76 euro.

LJSE's total turnover fell to 1.1 million euro from Friday’s 3.7 million euro.
