Slovenian Share Indices Drop, Turnover Rises

November 5 (SeeNews) - Slovenian share indices fell in higher turnover on Thursday, data of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) showed.

The blue-chip SBITOP index lost 0.35% to 1,046.65 points and the broader SBI20 index fell 0.46% to 4,307.92 points.

On Wednesday, the SBITOP added 0.61% and the SBI20 rose 0.60%.

Three of the seven LJSE blue chips closed higher on Thursday, three fell, while Nova Kreditna Banka Maribor closed unchanged at an average daily price of 12.94 euro ($19.2).

Telekom Slovenije led the blue-chip advancers, closing 0.63% up at an average price of 148.22.

Blue-chip fuel retailer Petrol led the decliners, falling 1.64% to an average price of 327.87 euro.

Shares of drug maker Krka, a blue-chip heavyweight, traded most on Thursday, generating a turnover of 663,000 euro. The company stock ended 0.45% higher at an average daily price of 72.23 euro.

LJSE's total turnover rose to 1.9 million euro from 1.55 million euro on Wednesday.
