Slovenian Share Indices Drift Lower, Turnover Nearly Doubles

November 11 (SeeNews) - Slovenian share indices closed down on Wednesday as turnover rose, data of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) showed.

Slovenian Share Indices Drift Lower, Turnover Nearly Doubles

The blue-chip SBITOP index fell 0.23% to 1,052.03 points and the broader SBI20 index lost 0.27% to 4,345.84 points.

On Tuesday, the SBITOP edged down 0.04% and the SBI20 fell 0.12%.

Three of the seven LJSE blue chips closed higher on Wednesday, and four fell.

Mercator led the SBITOP gainers, rising 1.57% to an average price of 172.32 euro ($259).

Insurer Zavarovalnica Triglav led the SBITOP decliners, ending down 1.75% at an average price of 27.50 euro.

Drug producer Krka was the most liquid stock in a volume of 10,993 shares. It edged down 0.01% to an average price of 72.03 euro.

LJSE's total turnover rose to 2.1 million euro from Tuesday's 1.1 million euro.
