The lender held 4.03 million shares of the logistics group, valued at 5.73 million euro ($6.31 million), based on Intereuropa's current share price of 1.42 euro, a regulatory filing with the Ljubljana stock exchange showed on Monday.

The divestment is part of a larger deal with Posta Slovenije agreed in May, under which the state-owned postal service firm committed to purchase 72.13% of Intereuropa's share capital, representing 54.53% of its voting rights.

Earlier in November, Posta Slovenije published a takeover intent to purchase all the shares of Intereuropa, days after closing the purchase of a majority holding in the logistics firm.
