The decision concerns 40 managers in Slovenia and 60 workers in Croatia, Slovenian public broadcaster RTV quoted a works council representative as saying on Tuesday.

The decision was taken by the management of Cimos without discussions with the works council and should thus be revised, the works council added.

In September 2022, German holding company Mutares completed the acquisition of Cimos, which has seven production plants across Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, from Italian investment firm Palladio Holding Group.
