Slovenian blue-chip index rebounds

October 16 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip index of the Ljubljana bourse rose on Tuesday in increased turnover, stock exchange data indicated.

Slovenian blue-chip index rebounds

The SBITOP added 2.25% to 585.84 points after losing 0.24% on Monday.

Six of the seven blue chips of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) closed higher on Tuesday.

Home appliances maker Gorenje [LJE:GRVG] was the only blue-chip decliner, falling 6.28% to 4.311 euro ($5.6).

Nova Kreditna Banka Maribor [LJE:KBMR] led the SBITOP gainers, rising 8.05% to 1.49 euro. It was also the most traded blue chip with 75,534 shares changing hands.

LJSE's total turnover rose to 804,450 euro from 791,530 euro on Monday.
