The SBITOP added 0.47% to 518.59 points after falling 0.32% on Tuesday.
Five of the seven blue chips of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) closed higher on Wednesday, one fell and the shares of Telekom Slovenije closed flat at 62.5 euro ($80.8).
Retailer Mercator [LJE:MELR] was the only SBITOP decliner, falling 0.45% to 111 euro ($143).
Lender NKBM [LJE:KBMR] led the blue-chip gainers, adding 8.77% to 1.154 euro.
Home appliances maker Gorenje [LJE:GRVG] was the most traded blue chip with 104,269 shares changing hands. The stock closed 1.99% up at 4.1 euro.
LJSE's total turnover rose to 2.4 million euro from 1.4 million euro on Tuesday.
